Monday Motivations; Four of Swords
Hello friends and welcome to another winning week of writing. Today, for yours truly, is deadline day for my most recent novella contract. And, I know I say this literally every time, but this time I really pulled out all the stops to try and screw things up for myself. By Friday, I was only… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Four of Wands
Welcome friends and welcome to another wrung out week of writing. I’ll admit I’ve been in a weird headspace ever since my daughter’s surgery forced me to take a week of from work and writing, partially because I went off my meds by accident and my brain chemistry has been jacked as a result. But… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; The Moon
Hello friends and welcome to another wacky week of writing. It’s the third week of Drabble Rock and I still feel really good about this fun little project. It’s keeping me creatively engaged without taxing my limited time. And by splitting the idea into two forks — one a contiguous story, the other unconnected, “random”… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Eight of Wands
Hello friends and welcome to another wiry week of writing. If you called on me every Monday to name a theme for my upcoming week, this time it would definitely be trimming the fat. As regular readers may have noticed, I’ve been a tad absent of late, and as regular readers might surmise, that absence is due in large part to the first depressive episode since starting my anti-depressant showing it’s ugly face. I won’t harp on it too… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Eliminating Waste
Happy NaNoWriMo everyone, especially those who are choosing to participate this year. Regular readers of this blog may be aware that after a lot of internal debate, pained agonizing over my busy schedule, and possibly against my better judgement, I have decided to go ahead and at least attempt NaNo. With as much on my… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Prove It
Good morning friends and welcome to another week in the writing trenches Well, last week you didn’t hear from me at all here because I had once again put myself in a pretty horrible position with my latest freelance deadline. Suffice it to say, I had a pretty hefty word count deficit and just one… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Second Verse, Same As the First Edition
A little late to the game this week, but better late than never, right? Which is fortunately not something I had to tell my editor when submitting my first completed manuscript on Friday. Nope, though it came down to the wire with edits, I was able to submit my very first freelance project before I… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Deadline Edition
Good morning and welcome to another fun filled writing week! Honestly, I had a hard time writing this post, because I am feeling seriously UNmotivated this morning. I think I worked myself into a small burnout this weekend. Which, don’t get me wrong, needed to be done. I needed to push myself over the hump… Continue reading
About Me
Kerry Share’s love for writing started, as it so often does, as a love of reading at an early age. At age 11 she wrote her first short story, a Harry Potter knockoff of dubious quality, and her love for creative expression was born. Throughout her teen years she continued to foster that passion through derivative work, and at 23 she turned her eye to original fiction.
Now in her thirties, having taken a break from creative endeavors to cope with an ever changing life and landscape, she is determined to make her dream of a writing career reality.
