Monday Motivations; Inertia

Hello friends and welcome to another wanton week of writing. I used to love Mondays. Strange, I know. But, to me, they always represented a new beginning. A new chance to do something great. The start of a new chain, a new streak. A new door to walk through if I had but the courage… Continue reading

If there’s something you’d like to me share, just drop it in the comments and I’ll include it in next week’s post! Since this is the first week, though, it’ll be pretty me-centric. Off we go! Phoenix… Continue reading

Fiction Friday; The Last Book That…

Hello friends! For this week’s edition of Fiction Friday I thought I would do a fun little survey about the last books that made me feel all the things. Good things, bad things, enraging things, tearful things. Books I remember, for good or for ill. Before I get started, just a quick note: I made… Continue reading

Drabble Rock; March 28, 2023
deprive Of all the conscripted, Cecil remained the most puzzling… and compelling. Deprived of adequate food, toilet breaks, and space to stretch his long limbs, the man managed to maintain something of his dignity, soiled and shredded though it may be. He was kind to his fellow indentured and quietly defiant to their shared masters.… Continue reading

Trope-Day: Evil Sounds Raspy
Hello friends and welcome to the blog’s newest series, a fun one in which we explore some popular or famous, or even unpopular or infamous, tropes one might find in the fantasy genre. Everyone knows the classic tropes: the chosen one, the dark lord, the hero’s journey, and so on. So, for this blog series… Continue reading

Why I DNF

Hello friends! On today’s edition of Fiction Friday we are talking about perhaps a touchy subject for some in the reading / writing communities: DNFing. Truthfully, I’m of the opinion that a person can (and should!) DNF for any reason they want, even if those reasons are petty or insignificant, or even not the fault… Continue reading
About Me
Kerry Share’s love for writing started, as it so often does, as a love of reading at an early age. At age 11 she wrote her first short story, a Harry Potter knockoff of dubious quality, and her love for creative expression was born. Throughout her teen years she continued to foster that passion through derivative work, and at 23 she turned her eye to original fiction.
Now in her thirties, having taken a break from creative endeavors to cope with an ever changing life and landscape, she is determined to make her dream of a writing career reality.
